Sticky Growth, Things I Wish I Said

Week two of Sticky Faith was a good one as we focused on Sticky Growth.  It's pretty simple.  People who keep going with Jesus keep growing through every age and every life-stage.  Stop growing and you will drift.  Stop growing and you will wander.  Stop growing and your faith won't stick.  That's why Paul told us to live a life worthy of our calling.

Now for somethings that I wish I said:

  • We all have a next step, but some of us won't take it until we forget our past mistakes and take a step forward.
  • We all have a next step, but some of us won't take it without a plan.  We need to count the costs and go for it!
  • We all have a next step, but some of us won't take it because we aren't sure it is best for us.  We need to trust Jesus, deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him.
  • We all have a next step, but some of us don't know what it is.  We need to reach out and ask for help.  Reach out to a small group leader or a member of our staff team.  We are here to help you build your life to honor God.
  • We all have a next step to take, some of us will take it because we understand all that God has done for us.
  • We all have a step to take, some of us will take it because we know that God's plan trumps our plans every day.
  • We all have a next step to take, some of us will take it because we want to honor God in every respect of our lives.

Everyone's got a next step.  What's yours?  Will you take it?
