Late last week, I had a phone conversation with a reporter from the Victoria Advocate. He wanted to talk about an article that he was writing on church size. Which is better...large or small? It seems like a simple question like paper or plastic at the grocery store. Bigger must be better, right? It's not that simple. We shouldn't look to just measure size. We must measure health. The true test is God's activity and God's hand at work in the church. Can this happen in small churches? Yep. Can it happen in large churches? Yep.
