Immersed

Monday night, we took Frontline Arlington on the road. I know what you are thinking. FL Arlington meets in a rented theater on Monday nights. It is already on the road. Yea, that's true, but this week it was on a different road so to speak. Due to construction at the Spectrum, we met for a special one night only worship service at the Church at Clarendon. The theme of the night was Immersed. The night centered on celebrating all God has done to reach people for Christ since the launch of the new campus back in January. In our brief time in Arlington, over 70 people have given their lives to Christ at our worship services. This blows me away. We wanted to celebrate it.

This week, we went first century with our celebration and baptized people. As I watched people publicly profess their faith in Christ through baptism, I could not have been more fired up. This is what our church and what Frontline Arlington is all about. We are all about seeing people accept Christ and then leading them to become fully devoted followers of Christ. The thing I love about our mission is that I know that it is God's mission as well. He is all about leading people to his Son Jesus and then empowering them to live a fully devoted life by the power of his Spirit. Our mission is his mission. He is on our side and we are on his team. We are totally immersed in his plan to change hearts, minds, and lives!

Can't wait for next Monday!
