Keep Going, Keep Growing

As you look at building a life of Sticky Faith, continued spiritual growth is a must.  We can't get stuck at a certain level and stop there.  We must press on and keep growing.  If we are in a rut, not seeing progress, it's time to take action.

On Sunday, I recommended three things to do so that you will keep growing no matter how long you have known Jesus.

1.  Continual Learning:  Keep working through passages of the Bible that you don't know or are uncomfortable with.  Don't just fall back on what you know or have studied in the past.

2.  Seek God Personally:  Be still before God when you are still in your daily routine.  We all have moments when we can focus in our God if we will simply make the choice.  Lay your requests before Him in the morning and look for Him to work throughout the day.

3.  Serve God As You Grow:  Serving others is key to spiritual growth because as you lead, you grow.  Ask a small group leader who is growing the most in their group and they will tell you that they are.  Whether leading a group of kids, students or adults, growth always happens in leaders.  Start where you are today and take your next step by serving and leading someone else.  There is a place for you!

So, what's your next step to make your faith stick?  Take it today.
