Welcome to the Sunday Recap - Tuesday edition. I was (and still am) under the weather so here we go. Sunday was a really good day. We had some tech issues, but everything else was very good. I even liked the talk this week. Here are some of the highlights:
- We wrapped up the More Than Enough Series with a look at Profit Sharing. Check out the video here and yes, I was wearing a pink shirt.
- 6 people trusted Christ in the main services
- 6 JH students trusted Christ at Student Impact
- 30 more women signed up for Girl Talk which is THIS Friday at the Soul Cafe (If you want to go and you didn't sign up, just show up.)
We also had a great day on Saturday as a part of the Outdoor Expo. Parkway had a booth where kids did activities that taught them the 7 days of creation. Our teams did a great job putting all of this together. I am always amazed by Sherry and her team's heart to serve and have fun doing it. They had almost 700 kids come through. I see this as a real seed planting event. Pray that the seeds that were planted at the Outdoor Expo will take root and lead people to a relationship with him.
