We had another great weekend at Parkway Church. The highlight of the services for me was my interview with Kim Woodhouse. She told her family's story and how God as used Extreme Makeover Home Edition to change their lives and give her a platform to share Christ. If you missed it, you will definitely want to check out the video which should be up later today. Yesterday, we also baptized a ton of folks at the Patio Party. It is so cool to see people go public with their faith through baptism. We should have a ton more baptisms soon with all of the adults that are accepting Christ in our services. This weekend, seven more people prayed to trust Christ.
Next week, we launch The Love Dare series. Looking forward to that one. I am also very interested to see what happens with our worship experiment in November. If you missed the news, we are going to tweak the worship style a bit during the first service for the month of November. We will do the exact same songs during both services, but the first service will be more acoustic driven with a little less volume which I am hoping will create a very intimate worship experience.
