Mike's Top 5

I can’t wait until Sunday when we kick off the new series entitled Generations. Through this series, we will look at what God’s word says to each generation and how we can bridge the gap so that we are all doing life together. If the response to the vision messages is any indication, this series is going to be strong. Can’t wait to see what God does. Today, I want to give you a quick update on the Top 5 things that you need to know about at the church:
  1. Building Lives 101: Discovering Parkway Church will be held on Sunday, October 5 from 12:30 to 2:30. Here, you will discover what it takes to have a relationship with Jesus plus we will look at what it means to be a member of Parkway Church. If you aren’t a member, I encourage you to join me for 101 this month. Email Chris to sign-up.

  2. The Connections Conference will be held on Saturday, October 11. If you are leading or serving on a team, you need to be there. Come be equipped and encouraged. Email Javonna to sign-up.

  3. On Wednesday, October 8, we will have our first Wednesday Worship of the fall. At Wednesday Worship, we experience and extended time of worship and we celebrate communion. Following Wednesday Worship on the 8th, we will hold a quarterly Business Meeting.

  4. This weekend Fireproof hits the theaters. Join us at the 7 PM show on Friday. Get your tickets early! Also, mark your calendar for the Fireproof Marriage Conference on Saturday, November 1. Much more information to follow on this one.

  5. Get ready for our Patio Party on Sunday, October 26 following the 2nd service. If you want to help grill the burgers and dogs, email Chris and let her know.
