I am at an event in Austin today. It is sponsored by Threads. I am here to learn and to help the others "process" what they are learning. I get to hang out and talk about Biblical Community with some really curious leaders. Yesterday, we heard from Ed Stetzer. Ed, while we didn't crown him this, was offically the smartest person in the room. He shared research on how young adults who don't attend church think. Scientific analysis of research at a gathering of church leaders. It was amazing. He asked that we not share the specifics as it will be released officially at Catalyst, but let me just say that we should look at the next generation with hope - not despair.
