Tonight, my family and I are going to join other families, small groups, and individuals as together we reach out to the children of Victoria. This event isn't for the kids of our church. It's for the kids of the city that don't yet come to Parkway. Our kids and families will be there to help out and to serve.
Since this is the first time we have done an event like this, we aren't sure what is going to happen.
We know what we are going to do. We are going to play, have fun, sing songs, hear from the Bible and of course eat. What we don't know is how many kids will show. We don't know how many parents will stay to be a part of the event with their kids.
What we don't know is what makes this event so exciting. We get to lead and serve with hopefulness by faith - the way it should be.
