Today

Today, we are hosting our "Goodbye Party" for friends and neighbors. While it will be fun, it will also be sad. Today, we say goodbye to over 100 of our closest friends. (Yes, that is how many people we will have in our backyard this afternoon!) Given the holiday weekend, we are thrilled that everyone can make it. These people represent the best of Northern Virginia to us. Some have loved our us and our kids at church and in small group. Others have gotten to know us through life on Roy Court and Tottenham Hale Court. Others have joined us for soccer teams, baseball teams, or play groups. As I see everyone today, I will be thankful to them and to the Lord for the role they have played in our lives and for what they mean to us.
