Complaining in Paradise

One thing is true...people are people no matter where they live. Chalk it up to human nature. We complain about everything. We make up reasons to be upset. We look for outlets for our angst. Bottom line: everyone likes to grumble, murmur, and stir things up. We all complain about something.

So, what caught my attention today? Why am I stating the obvious? Well, it all stems from some comments made by University of Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan. Brennan isn't pleased with the playing conditions his university. Among other things, the soap in the shower is lacking and the coach's carpets are a bit worn. What horror! I could fully understand it if he was the QB in a state like Wyoming, North Dakota, Alaska, or even Oklahoma for that matter, but did you notice where he plays? He plays in paradise. He plays in Hawaii for one of the most quarterback friendly run-n-shoot offenses that you will find. He plays for a coach who has turned average arms into record holders and yet he complains.

Not sure what to do with this...except to check my attitude and possibly plan a trip to Hawaii. When word gets out about the quality of life there, prices are sure to drop!
