So, why Monday?

Last night was amazing as Todd cast vision about Frontline Arlington. The atmosphere of Frontline was electric as we dreamed about God's next steps for our church's impact on Washington. If you missed it, we are launching a new campus, Frontline Arlington, on January 22, 2007.

One of the questions I have been hearing is why Monday? I typically bounce back with why not Monday. That may be a tad bit aggressive, but really why not Monday. Why not start your work week with a great worship and community building experience at Frontline Arlington? It will be amazing.

There are also a couple of logistical reasons that make Monday night work. First, the Spectrum is available. A key fact, don't you think? We researched every facility in Ballston, Clarendon, and Rosslyn. The Rosslyn Spectrum is the absolute best and it is available on Monday nights. How good is God! The other thinking behind Monday is the possibility of reaching people who work on the Hill since there aren't many votes on Monday evenings.

Join me in praying that Monday nights will reach people like never before.

Hey Mike! I think it's AWESOME that God is moving MBC/Frontline in this direction. Even though I live in MD and probably won't be attending the Arlington campus on a regular basis - I plan on attending some of the events in the Fall at the Rosslyn Spectrum. As always, my prayers are with the leadership team as we make bigger strides for God into the DC-Metro area. God Bless!
