Yesterday was a full day, a really full day. Here was the rundown:
7:15 AM - Sausage and Jalepeno Kalache and a Cream Cheese Danish (It's my free day!)
7:30 AM - Final Sermon and Media Prep
8:30 AM - Meet with Deacons - love these guys
9:00 AM - Meet with FPU Panel - didn't they do great!
9:30 AM - First Service - good responsive crowd - one person trusted Christ
10:35 AM - First Service Baptism - baptized a father and daugher - how cool!
11:00 AM - Second Service - very energetic crowd - five people trusted Christ
12:05 PM - Second Service Baptism - baptized two people
12:30 PM - Building Lives 101 - 21 people plus kids in attendance
2:30 PM - Crash while watching the Practice on TiVo
5:30 PM - Cook pancakes for family (It's our Sunday night routine.)
10:30 PM - Nite, Nite Time
The highlight of the day for me was 101. Eating lunch and talking about the vision and the direction of our church with 21 people was great. There were people there that had been coming for 2 weeks and for 6 years. Their common point was their love for this church. (I will post more on their thoughts and comments regarding Parkway tomorrow.)
Looking forward to Sunday as we wrap up More than Enough and gear up for Everything You Wanted to Know...But Were Afraid to Ask.
